Resume Format Download Instructions
You will probably be surprised to know that you have a wealth of resume format information literally at your finger tips and you don't even have to download it! If you have MicroSoft Office, or have access to it, there are resume formats buried within the software.

But there is also a possibility that although you have asked for a resume format download, you may not actually mean that you simply want to access a resume layout. Perhaps you are looking for a little more help than that. There is nothing more dispiriting than staring at a form and wondering how on earth to complete it. So before you go any further you should begin to gather your thoughts about what it is you want to say to a prospective employer or his recruiting staff. This is so important because you will only get one go at this. It has to be right first time and yet it never ceases to amaze me how indifferently some people treat the writing of their resumes.
Your resume needs to be lovingly crafted. Love it as you should love yourself. It is a representation of you on two sheets of paper and it must be treated with the same love and respect you yourself would want. Your resume or CV is the way you introduce yourself before a physical meeting. It is where you get the opportunity to say what a great guy you are and how much the interviewer is going to enjoy meeting you. Would you turn up for that meeting unshaven, hair unkempt and wearing sloppy Joes? You would not - so don't do the equivalent with your resume. People do!
So - by all means download a resume format from MS Office, but before you even begin to put pen to paper you must read about how to write a resume properly, and apply all the tips given there.
